RISON TITANIUM GR5 Countersunk Hex Socket Bolts
GR5 titanium alloy Ti6Al4V offers nearly double the strength of GR2 pure titanium while maintaining the same 45 percent weight savings over stainless steel. With tensile strength of 950 to 1000 MPa, these bolts are designed for structural and load bearing applications on bicycles, motorcycles, marine equipment, and outdoor gear.
The 90 degree countersunk flat head sits completely flush with the material surface when properly installed. This eliminates snagging on bike frames, provides clean professional appearance, and allows smooth clearance on sliding surfaces. Requires 90 degree countersink hole preparation.
Our surface is PVD-coated for a stealthy tactical appearance, with raw natural titanium showing its metallic beauty. All finishes are durable, scratch resistant
Titanium is 100 percent rustproof and non magnetic. The natural oxide layer resists saltwater, moisture, and chemicals permanently. Unlike steel bolts that rust at the taper edge, GR5 titanium remains pristine in marine environments and harsh weather conditions.
Important Installation Requirements
These are countersunk bolts with 90 degree taper. They require 90 degree countersink holes. Standard 82 degree countersinks will not work. Apply anti seize lubricant when threading into metal to prevent galling. Use manual hex key only. Never use power tools or impact drivers. Torque to 70 percent of standard steel bolt values.
Hex Key Sizes
M5 bolts use 3mm hex key.
M6 bolts use 4mm hex key.
M8 bolts use 5mm hex key.
Torque Reference
M5 bolts torque to 4-5 Newton meters.
M6 bolts torque to 8-10 Newton meters.
M8 bolts torque to 20-25 Newton meters.
