RISON TITANIUM Extended Series – M8x1.25x65mm Titanium Stud Kit (12-Piece /Set)

At 65mm extended length, this kit is specifically designed to solve thread-engagement issues on heavily modified engines. If you are running ultra-thick aftermarket intake manifolds, thick phenolic thermal isolation gaskets, or stacked plenum spacers, standard 45mm or 55mm studs simply won't reach. The 65mm version provides the extra thread depth needed to ensure a rock-solid, leak-free seal without stripping your aluminum cylinder head.

⚠️ CRITICAL FITMENT NOTE: Standard factory manifolds use 45mm studs. Modified setups with standard thermal gaskets use 55mm studs. This 65mm kit is strictly for extreme, ultra-thick applications—such as multi-layer spacer stacks, extra-thick intake plenums, or custom throttle body/manifold fabrications where the flange-to-gasket thickness exceeds normal aftermarket standards. Please measure your total flange thickness before ordering.

Essential Installation Guide

Never Install Dry: Titanium-on-aluminum or titanium-on-titanium contact can cause cold-welding (galling). Always apply a high-quality, nickel-based anti-seize to the threads entering the block. Do not use copper-based anti-seize (risks galvanic reaction).
Prep the Block: Thoroughly chase the cylinder head threads with an M8x1.25 thread tap/chaser and flush clean with brake cleaner. Remove all old crust, oil, and debris.
Hand Tighten First: Always thread the studs into the block by hand until finger-tight. Never use an impact gun to install or spin titanium fasteners.
Torque to Spec: Use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten down to your factory or manifold manufacturer's torque specifications.
Heat Cycle Check: Re-torque the nuts after your engine's first complete heat cycle, and re-verify torque again after the first 50–100 km of driving.
