A complete 20-piece titanium lug bolt set for Audi and Volkswagen with OEM VAG wheels. Aerospace-grade GR5 (Ti-6Al-4V), R13 ball seat, 12-point head, 28mm thread length, Titanium Raw finish. Lighter than steel, strong enough to trust, and they won't rust.

R13 Ball Seat – Fits OEM Audi & VW Wheels Only

Audi and Volkswagen factory wheels use an R13 spherical (ball) seat — a rounded recess that distributes clamping force evenly and prevents damage to the wheel hub . This bolt is engineered specifically for that design.

Important: This bolt fits original VAG (Audi / VW / Skoda / Seat) wheels only . If you have aftermarket wheels (BBS, Enkei, Work, etc.), you need a 60° conical seat bolt instead.

Do not mix R13 and R14 bolts. Using the wrong radius creates a single-line contact instead of full surface contact — the bolt can loosen while driving.

Why 12-Point?

Larger tool contact area — higher torque without stripping the head. 12-point allows engagement from more angles .

Easier access in tight wheel wells — common on lowered or performance cars.

Motorsport standard — preferred for quick wheel changes and high-torque applications.

Compatibility

Not compatible with: Audi Q7 (2007+) — uses 5x130 bolt pattern. Audi Q5, Q7, Q8, e-tron (newer) — may use R14 ball seat; verify before ordering. Always confirm thread size and seat type against your wheel before purchase.

Installation Notes

Do not install titanium bolts dry. Galling (cold welding) can occur on the first install and permanently damage threads.

1. Clean hub threads thoroughly with a thread chaser and brake cleaner.

2. Apply nickel-based anti-seize to the bolt threads only. Do not apply to the ball seat — seat friction holds the wheel securely. Copper-based anti-seize must not be used with titanium.

3. Hand-start each bolt until finger-tight. Never use an impact gun to start titanium fasteners.

4. Torque to 120–130 N·m in a star pattern using a calibrated torque wrench.

5. Re-check torque after 50–100 km.
